1. Project Background
With the rapid development of the global new energy industry, core components such as wind power main shafts, photovoltaic silicon wafer cutting equipment guide rollers and energy storage battery casings have long relied on imported high-temperature alloy materials, with problems such as long procurement cycle, high price and unstable supply. Relying on its advantages in nickel alloy R&D, Jiangsu Boyue Alloy launched the localization project of high-temperature alloy components for new energy equipment to help the industrial chain achieve independent controllability.

2. Project Objectives
- Develop 3 types of special high-temperature alloy materials for new energy (improved Inconel 718, lightweight Monel 400, low-cost GH4169 formula), with performance comparable to imported brands.
- Build a deep processing production line of high-temperature alloy bars/pipes with an annual output of 800 tons, realizing full-process coverage from raw material smelting to precision component processing.
- Reduce the cost of localized components by 20%, shorten the delivery cycle by 50%, and achieve an import substitution rate of 80%.

3. Project Implementation
- Customized Material Formula R&D: Cooperate with university laboratories to optimize alloy element ratio (reduce Co content, strengthen Nb and Ti precipitation strengthening phases), reducing material cost by 15% while maintaining high-temperature strength (tensile strength ≥1000MPa at 650℃); carry out more than 100 industrial tests to solve technical problems such as component segregation and coarse grains, with material qualification rate stable above 99.2%.
- Precision Processing Capacity Construction: Introduce high-end equipment such as 5-axis CNC machine tools, CNC grinders and vacuum heat treatment furnaces, which can process high-precision bars and seamless pipes with diameter of 5-200mm and length ≤6000mm; establish a full-process quality traceability system to realize full traceability of composition, size and performance data from raw material incoming to finished product delivery, meeting the strict quality requirements of the new energy equipment industry.
- Customized Customer Service Implementation: Develop high-strength and high-toughness Inconel 718 alloy bars for wind power main shafts to solve the problem of insufficient fatigue life of traditional materials, which have been supplied to leading domestic wind power complete machine manufacturers; customize high-hardness and wear-resistant Monel 400 alloy pipes for photovoltaic silicon wafer cutting equipment guide rollers, with surface roughness ≤Ra 0.8 and service life increased by 3 times.

4. Project Achievements
- Market Breakthrough: Has provided more than 1,200 tons of high-temperature alloy components for the new energy industry, replacing imported products with a value of more than 250 million yuan, and customers cover industry leaders such as Goldwind Technology and Sungrow Power Supply.
