Inconel 600 (UNS N06600 / W.Nr 2.4816) is a nickel-chromium-iron solid solution strengthened alloy, widely used for its excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance and outstanding corrosion resistance in harsh industrial environments. It can maintain stable mechanical properties at continuous temperatures up to 1100°C, making it ideal for heat treatment furnace components such as furnace rollers, radiant tubes, and heat treatment fixtures.
This alloy also offers excellent resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion, as well as good performance against alkalis, acids, and seawater. It is commonly used in chemical processing equipment, petrochemical plants, nuclear power facilities, marine engineering, and flue gas desulfurization systems.
With good ductility, excellent formability, weldability, and machinability, Inconel 600 bars and rods are suitable for manufacturing pump shafts, valve stems, fasteners, bolts, and other mechanical parts that require both high strength and corrosion resistance.
